Idul adha means the day when they offered sacrifices to be slaughtered.

i don't know if bayram has a same meaning.

as i know every muslim celebrate it today.

We have different kinds of bayrams. This one is called "Kurban Bayramı". The main purpose is sacrificing an animal (it's specific) and give its meat to poors, our relatives or neighbours(if they aren't financally able to do the sacrife thing). We only take some of it. We believe sharing that sacrife with others will give us good deed.

If I am right during Bayram people visit their relatives and they do sacrifices ( bull as I know) .They believe that sacrifice will ensure their place in the paradise after death.. I am sorry if I ve made a mistake in describing Bayram holiday..  I will be glad if you write anything about this day >>Thanks
