I have tried to spend at least two hours a day learning German and this time has increased more and more as I have become more self motivated and determined. I have created a lesson plan that has put down fifteen hours in one week for study. I might be a little under my mark but I hope I get close to it and keep doing this every week. I have spent way more time already in learning German then I did in French, but I think I am more determined because I am more fascinated with duetch. 

My advice is to try and put whatever free time you have aside to study your target language. Good luck!

My native language is English and I been learning Spanish for 8 months.

I'm a native speaker for both English and Filipino/Tagalog. I can speak more Spanish than I could in French. I'd say that I spend more than 2 hours learning German at Duolingo.com.
