How do you call your lover in your country?

In Korean, we say "자기야"(Ja-Ki-Ya), meaning "honey." Or "여보"(Yeo-Bo), commonly used between married couples. And many other private words.

I know in English there are "Babe," "Honey," "My love(a bit cheesy)," "Sweety(not sure)," etc.

What are yours? And what are the common ones in your country?

Thanks. Happy new year!

In China, people like to call their lovers "亲爱的" which means "dear" ;

or call them "小甜心”which means "sweet heart" or "honey";

"宝贝儿" means "babe". ^^

And people in China also like to call their lovers' nicknames!

Happy New Year!~

in my country boys call there girlfriends (omri) which means -my life-

that's what i hear often but i actually hate when boys call girls in such way

because it seems to me a bit cliche
i actually like to call my boyfriend (oppa) because it seems to me cool and kind

In Canada we say:

Babe

Baby

Boo

Hun (short for honey)

Honey

Sweetie/Sweety

My love

Darling (not common)

Daddy (only used by the female in the relationship unless it's a gay couple, sounds very sexual)

People also make up nicknames for their significant other, such as: sugar, sunshine, buttercup, etc.

In Poland we say to such a person "Kochanie".

All the best in new year 2014.
