I don't understand the options 'Following' and 'Follower' on italki. italki itself says that if you follow somebody, you are able to see his/her public activities but I don't really see them, it is just written on their profile... I think that I even see public activities of persons I do not follow.
Could somebody explain that to me?
Go to the main page (home) then make a click on Social updates . You will see your friends' actvities. I don't think you saw the Social updates of the persons activities whom you don't follow but you saw language updates and that includes the acivities of other people.
You have made a valid point. You can see activities of any profile you visit. I guess what iTalki means is that once you start following a person you can go to your list of Followers and can pull down their profile easily from there to see their activities rather than searching for their profile randomly through general search. :-)
