One of my biggest surprises about London was how little English I heard while staying there.  For instance, I spent over 4 hours in the British Museum and the only English I heard was when I asked a security guard directions to the restroom.

I've been to Britain three times (all over the midlands & Scotland; Kent, Sussex, & Hampshire; London) and London felt the least "British" of all the cities I've visited.

I love London! One of my biggest dreams is travelling to England and discover the cities, hearing the people and learning more and more about the language and the culture.
