Yeah, the name is rather interesting)

I hope I won't be attacked by "scousers" (residents of Liverpool) for saying so, but I have to say there are better places to live in England.. 

It's quite a poor city. There's a lot of unemployment - certainly compared with the cities in the wealthier south. There are some areas which are quite rough and dangerous, and - like all big cities where there are social problems - there are issues with drugs, drink and violence. The people from Liverpool are famous for being friendly and 'down-to-earth', with a good sense of humour. It's an interesting place to visit, especially round an area called the Albert Dock in the centre, but I'm not sure that you'd enjoy living there.

liver ... pool. Quite the curious name. (just kidding , moving along :) )
