I'm not a great fan of it, though i rather like it. I hear it here in the Russian TV-advertisments for World Cup and surprisingly there's no modern samba:) So thanks for the links!

Nowadays, It's rare people listen music in spanish language, but in the past was common romantic music and some pop music.

I don't speak portuguese, but I agree with you. Music helps a lot to learn languages and also some about the culture.

I like a bit the music from your country. In Argentina sometimes they can be listened at discos. Is it common to hear Spanish music in Brazil too?

By the way, one of my favourite songs is "Lambada" of Kaoma (nice group).
