That is an interesting point.  I think that your connection suggests that you found a positive theme in these pictures.  I think of a path as a possibility, an opportunity.

Ok, I see. I am looking forward for others opinion. BTW, it can be a great test for psychologists. Assosiations is a great thing to define people's psycho-sociological type.

From my point of view, the connection between these pictures is a path: path for water between stones, path for trains, path for people to cross the river and path for ships.
