Hi, I read Maral's discussion this morning about chat rooms, so I searched for free chat rooms on Google and found Chatzy. This website is totally free and it doesn't require you to register.
I was going to make a post explaining how to use Chatzy etc, but everything you need to know is covered in the "Chatzy FAQ" section. 10-15 mins reading and you should be well acquainted with how it all works.
I think Chatzy has a lot of potential.
I've opened a chat room, and I'll be in there for the next 20mins or so, then I'm going for a lie down. I'm wrecked.
Please use your italki screen name, so everyone knows who they are talking to.

Not a pile. Just that you're chatting in real time and you can talk about whatever you like. I've seen chat rooms being mentioned several times on here, and I thought it would be a good idea to get one up and running. Doesn't look like it's going to take off quite like I had envisaged though.

29mins and no takers. Anyone can join that discussion for free. Just follow the link, type in your username and click "Enter Room." Alternatively, you could just start your own. I believe there's a limit of 10 people per free chat room. Anyway, I have to go. Give it a try, I think the less-restrictive format could be beneficial.
