I only i had visited Argentina, the Buenos Aires city, was my first international travel and i was amazed with the large of the city... in fact all population of my country (Chile) can live in the city with no problems, i like to go there for the culture and kindness of the people, very happy, with a great consideration with the tourist and the argentinian culture itself, and a good food, i would love to travel to Sweden, England or Spain (i have Spanish and French roots from my  pattern family).

I've been to France, Germany, Belgium, Alabania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Ireland, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, India, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan.

I love travelling; I'm from the UK but currently live in Asia. This year will see my first foray into South America with any luck and I can't wait!

Despite wanting to, I haven't travelled very much.
I'd like to travel around the world, but it is impossible for me at the moment. I'd really love to travel to England, perhaps London or any place where I could learn English.
I have an uncle in France, and when I was a child, perhaps aged 11 or 12, my parents, one of my brothers, and I went to visit him. But at that time I didn't understand the meaning of travelling. I only visited his home, his village, and nothing else.
Sometimes I have visited Portugal. The border between Spain and Portugal is very near to my home, it is only one hundred kilometres away. Two years ago, my wife and I visited Lisbon for 5 days. Lisbon is approximately 300 kilometres away from my home. This year, we and some friends went to Oporto, which is also in Portugal. We liked it very much. We stayed in an apartment in the centre of town. It was lovely. Oporto is charming and you can visit ancient monuments, their streets and squares, the port and, of course, their famous wineries.

I've been to Canada, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, China (Hong Kong and Macau), and Japan. Some of them I've been to multiple times, others only briefly.

Also, "Despite myself", is that a phrase in Spanish? (it's not in English)
