POWER FOOD FOR THE BRAIN Neal Barnard/ TEDx
According to Barnard, food has a powerful impact on brain development. Studies show that a half of American people are at risk of getting dementia or Alzheimer's especially those who have a diet of saturated and trans fat foods. However, there is a way to prevent this disease; eating healthy foods with natural vitamin E will improve our brain function. Medical research shows that vitamin E is an essential antioxidant to maintain and keep the valance in our brain cells. Some of the foods rich in vitamin E are avocados, spinach, almonds, grapes, and blueberries. Another thing to stimulate this healthy process is by exercise like, walking at least 40 minutes, 3 times a week .It is proven that exercise and healthy food build and strengthen our memory capacity. Barnard said, "we cannot stop the disease in people who already have it, but we can help ourselves to power our brain by behind bad habits."
