review Secret Window is a psychological horror film starring Johnny Depp and John Turturro. It was written and directed by David Koepp, based on the novella Secret Window. The film was released on March 12, 2004. Famed mystery writer, Mort Rainey is confronted by a mysterious stranger outside his house. This stranger calls himself John Shooter and claims that Mort has stolen an idea for a story from him. Mort says he can prove he wrote his first, but while Mort waits for the evidence to appear, Shooter starts to become more and more violent. At first he kill Mort's dog, then Shooter burn his ex-wife's house. After a number of deaths Morts realises, that Shooter is merely a figment of his imagination.After that Mort becomes insame and when his wife come to him, he kills her with a shovel. Really feeling of tension doesn't leave the viewer, but other than that is still uneasy feeling :" What happens to our hero?", "Really somebody chases him?" Secret Window is one of my favorite films.It's well worth going to see.
