Asking age.

"Asking a women's age is rude," a teacher of mine taught me this. In Japan, it can be considered an impolite thing to do. Because of this, I have been avoiding asking women their age. I can't stop thinking about their age though, because I feel that being older is something lucky. People say it does not matter, however the thought weighs me down. What does age mean? To me it means how long a person has lived, and how much history they have behind them. Everybody has their own history, some longer than others, and all having different stories. The more age increases, the more meaning it has. To know a person well, it is important to know how he or she has lived. The story is what interests me into wanting to ask a person's age. This is what I believe.

It means how long a person has lived. Truly, that is his or her history. Everybody has his or her own history. It is just different, in terms of length and content. The more age grows, the more, the number grows its meaning. To know a person well, it is important to know how he or she has lived. My interests to it, makes me want to ask the age. I don't know well, but i guess.
