Putu Bambu Putu bambu is an Indonesia traditional snack. When I was child, I often ate putu bambu.Now a day it’s quite difficult to meet the putu bambu seller. I have been quite long time for me not eat putu bambu. Putu bambu usually sell with cart, bicycle or borne by the seller. We can know if putu bambu seller come from the issuance of sound. The sound usually like a whistle sound. ^^ Putu bambu is made from coarse ground rice flour moistened with water. The dough flour will be entered into bamboo tube which containing brown sugar. All the ingredients will be steam. After it cooked, putu bambu will be out from the bamboo tube with using a special tool made from wood. Putu bambu will be serve with dried grated coconut. I often eat putu bambu with green color (green color comes from pandan leaf). For the white color, I never eat. Besides putu bambu, there are a lot of traditional snacks.
