Fundamentally, respecting others is another way of respecting ourselves. In life, we can use more polite expressions in communication ,such as please，thanks，sorry and so forth. And when we ask for others’ help, the courteous attitude is important. And do not employ others’ things without owner’s permission. All these things about respecting others should be started from the drop. Last but not least, everyone live in an entire society as we all know. If the society cannot offer the deserved respect to people, people may not admit the existence of the society. A country is also seen as a society ,and there are plenty of historical uprisings and many extreme incidents in life , partially because of society’s lacking recpect. As a consequence, people would like to damage the society and mess up public order to let off steam. Conversely, provided that the society is filled with justice and all men are equal, people will try their utmost to serve society. In general, respect is to us what water is to fish. Being respected ,we can obtain equality and freedom, and the place we live in will be more harmonious.
