First notebook entry: Introducing myself

Hi!
My name is Alex. I'm from Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
I'm learning English because I like to travel. Hope to upgrade my language level here and to make new friends worldwide.
Also, I'm ready to help everybody with studying Russian. (if the word also is at the beginning of a sentence that can stand alone, you need a comma)
Except In addition to travelling I enjoy sports, jazz and photography.
