여 or 요

In my last note, I seems to have the same mistakes of the usage of 요 and 여 (ㅛ and ㅕ)
What is the difference between those two?? They both read as 'o' right??
Can someone kindly explain it to me...

I wrote about the Hangul and their sounds in my note.

I think it is helpful for you.

ㅕ and ㅛ sounds are different like as ㅓ and ㅗ.

In sound symbol, ㅓ is matched to [∧] and ㅗ is matched to [o].

And ㅛ is the sound like ㅗ[o] added "y".

Like this, ㅕis the sound of "y" + "ㅓ".

"~요." is generally used to the end of sentences. ex) 안녕하세요

"~여" is normaly used in the sentences that mean the reason and the result.

ex) 빗물이 모여 강이 된다. (This is just a example.)

They are a bit similar but have a slightly different pronounciation. 요= yo (shorter sound) 여= yeo (longer sound) 요 is often used at an end of a sentence to create 'polite form' I hope this helps you :-)
