Claim

Dear Sirs,
I am writing to complain about a demurrage occurred with the truck number BDS000 / AM000
Unfortunately, a mistake with gross weight has been made on the shipping documents.
Due to this mistake there was a demurrage for 3 days from February, 24 to February, 26.
Our forwarder asks that you (adding "that you" clarifies who should pay for the demurrage - without this phrase, it could be mistaken that the forwarder wants to pay for the demurrage) to pay the penalty for the demurrage which is 100 Euro per a day. (When using the word per, no article is needed, i.e. per kilometer, per annum, not per a kilometer, etc) The total amount is 300 Euro.
To resolve this problem we would appreciate if you could cover these expenses.
