A deal is a deal! A deal is a deal. I like this expression and the meanings it have, in addition how much one can reflect upon it. I have never been fond of making deals with friends that involve money or other things that may be regarded as payment, since if the deal is not kept then it will eventually put a strain on the friendship as you or the friend proves they cannot be fully trusted. If a deal passes the deadline then I no longer hold it valid. If I promise someone, something in return for them helping me and allowing them to state the terms of the deal, then I fully expect them to keep it and only a very good reason would allow me to extend it. So when they do not hold up their end of the deal I no longer feel obliged towards my end of it. And it makes me wonder... How can I 100% trust the word of a friend that disregards a deal easily.
