The Tito's Testament. - first part

The <em>Tito's Testament</em> is one of the most famous songs by one of the greatest italian singer-songwriter: Fabrizio De Andre. He was born in Genova in 1940 and he died in Milan in 1999. In almost 40 years of artistic activity, he recorded thirteen albums, plus a some single songs. Many texts of his songs tell stories of marginalized rebels, prostitutes and were considered by some critics as genuine poetries , so as to be inserted in various school anthologies of literature.
The Tito's Testament tells about one of two robbers (Tito) that was crucified on Calvary with Jesus Christ. With this song De Andre wanted to stigmatize the bad implementation of the Ten Commandments.
