Why do I prefer to travel alone? It is an obvious fact that most people like to travel. At the same time, some people like to travel with a company while other prefer to travel alone. I had a many trips with my friends as well as trips, when I traveled alone. Personally, based on my experience I prefer to travel without any company. First of all, when you travel with your friends you usually communicate only inside your group, therefore you meet less other people and lost the chances to find new friends from different countries. At the same time, when you travel alone, you certainly need to communicate with other strangers and this can help you to meet someone, who may appears as very interesting person. Last time when I have traveled alone on the big juggling festival, which took place in France, I found a lot of new friends from different countries, who had the similar interests with me. We are trying to keep in touch even after the end of the festival. Also, when you travel alone across some country, you need to speak on the foreign language. Thus, you can get a very helpful speaking practice. For example, after my last trip across Europe I felt that my conversation English became a much better than before it. When you travel in company, you often speak with your friends on your native language and that does not allow you to dive into foreign language and culture completely. That is other reason why I prefer to travel alone. At the end, I would like to give the most important advantage of the traveling alone. When you are alone, you become very flexible in your travel plans. You are able to decide where to go without any discussion with your friends and it allows you to be independent on the anyone’s opinion. Because different people have the different interests, sometimes it is very hard to find a compromise decision and that is why I prefer to travel alone. Summarizing, I would like to say that everyone tries to choose how to travel, based on his personality. In my opinion, I prefer to travel alone because this type of travel allows me to be very flexible, find many new friends and also get some practice in my English.
