adto = to go
anhe, anhi, muanhi =to come (muanhi = will come)
baktas, lakaw =to walk ( lakaw = go )
bag-o, magbag-o =magbago =to change (bag-o means new that is why magbag-o means to change or to be new)
baligya =sell (ibaligya - to sell)
balo = widow ( it is Tagalog)  mubaylo - to borrow
basa = read 
bayad =to pay
buhat = make
ibutang (buta^ng)=to place
chica =to tell a story (gay word) (Chika)
kaon = eat 
kita = (Can you give a sentence? This word can mean differently depends how it was used and pronounce.) I know it is kita = profit or to see. for example: pila ang imong kita? - how much is your profit. magkita ta sa balay - Let's see each other at the house. 
dad-un =to bring =liba  dal-un = to bring
damgo =to dream
dungog (dungo^g) =to hear
gamit = use ----- ex. gi gamit nimo ni? - Did you use this?
guba^ =destroy
hang'yo, muhang'yo =ask (ask for a favor not question)

hinundum, hinunduman = remember nadumduman = remember
hitabo, mahitabo =to happen
ilis =palit =to change (ex. pag ilis ug sanina = change your clothes) palit= buy
ila-ila =kilala (ila-ila means introduce yourself ex. ipa ila-ila sila = you introduce them) kilala - means know a person but kilala is tagalog in Cebuano it's Kaila.
