''Now I Walk in Beauty.''
One of the pieces we repeatedly sing at Men's Choir is ''Now I Walk in Beauty.'' With only one line of lyrics it enchants, "Now I walk in beauty. Beauty is before me. Beauty is behind me, above and below me.'' Having sung it for almost a semester, I apprehended not that which it signifies. To me, the concept of taking beauty as possession was ostensibly eminent. It was not till recently I commenced to examine my long-held perception. I was touched, if not all convinced, by the impression the song portrays. That beauty embraces and surrounds instead of having to be owned opens up a whole new horizon for me. I start to let beauty take over me.
