Dumb English in China I started to get in touch with English at a young age. But my progress is rather slow. To do the math, I have been studying English for almost 12 years! That makes one third of my life so far. I am now an English major student in college. However, sadly, I still cannot speak English fluently. Actually a lot of Chinese people had English classes in elementary school and secondary school. Yet, quiet a number of college students are still struggling to pass the CET4 and CET6(College English Test Level 4 and 6). In my opinion, listening and speaking are the weak points of most Chinese people. Even if those who did pass the CET4 would later discover that they may fail to communicate with their English-speaking boss or co-workers. And the main problem does not lie in their accent or grammar mistakes. We call this phenomenon "dumb English". It is very common here in China and is already recognised by the public. It seems to me that the English education in China need to change gradually and focus more on boosting students' ability to listen and speak..

Very good job! I only made some minor changes with grammar and punctuation. I also combined some sentences by deleting a few periods, (.) replacing them with commas, (,) to make the sentences flow better. The main note I have is that usually you are never supposed to start a sentence with And in English.  The words with the strikethrough should be deleted from those sentences for better understanding.
