Your brain be POWER UP if you study second language?

Can you POWER UP your brain by studying a second language?

I really like to searching anything,

("searching" or "to search" - どちらかが正しいです。)

I am on google immediately when I have find things not that don't make sense or are unclear.

There is an Italian female who can speak 5 languages on the a language learning website that I visit.of the learn languages. (Wow, impressive!)

Then I felt kind of like I saw a God at her ability, because I am in great trouble even I am just studying a second language, such as English.

So, I tried to research like I usually do usual that about "there are something person types who has have special ability at who's brain or not for studying other languages."
(I'm  not sure how to word this, but I think "Are there people whose brains are naturally better at learning other languages?" or whether it's possible for "just anybody" to learn many languages or if it is a special inborn ability)

(Without to think about who is smart or not. Because I know the answer to me. ^0^).
(Regardless of whether a person is smart or not, because I know the answer in my case.)

And then I found so these interesting articles at below.

"Neurolinguistics: Structural plasticity in the bilingual brain"

Humans have a unique ability to learn more than one language a skill
that is thought to be mediated by functional (rather than structural)
plastic changes in the brain.
Here we show that learning a second language increases the density
of grey matter in the left inferior parietal cortex and that
the degree of structural reorganization in this region is modulated
by the proficiency attained and the age at acquisition. This relation
between grey-matter density and performance may represent
a general principle of brain organization.

BBC "Learning languages 'boosts brain'"
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3739690.stm
They found learning other languages altered grey matter
the area of the brain which processes information
in the same way exercise builds muscles.

This is very interesting information, and I wonder about this myself. One reason I started to study Japanese was to stretch my brain as I get older. :) Here is a link to a very interesting video (in English) that I found very helpful on the subject of language learning.

This is a really interesting article! Thank you for sharing :) I hope I can boost my brain power by learning more languages too! I know a guy at my college who speaks about 8 languages!!! Instead of letting that scare you let it inspire you instead!! We can do it!
