English text
Bobby woke up because he heard a dog. He heard a dog barking outside his window. Bobby woke up when he heard the dog barking. Bobby got out of bed. He got out of bed and walked to the window. He looked out the window. He saw a big brown dog. It was barking very loud. Bobby opened his window. He looked at the barking dog. "Why are you barking so loud?" he asked the dog. The dog looked at Bobby. Then it stopped barking.

Bobby si svegliò perché sentì un cane. Sentì un cane che abbaiava fuori la sua finestra. Bobby si svegli<font color="#ff0000">ò </font>quando sent<font color="#ff0000">ì</font> un cane abbaiare (oppure che abbaiava). Bobby si alzò dal letto. Lui si alzò dal letto e camminò verso <strike>al</strike>la finestra. Guardò fuori della finestra. Vide un grande cane <strike>grande</strike> marrone. Abbaiava molto forte (oppure stava abbaiando). Bobby apr<font color="#ff0000">ì</font> la sua finestra. Guardò il cane che abbaiava. "Perche stai abbaiando cosi forte?" domandò al cane. Il cane guardò <strike>a</strike> Bobby. Poi (oppure allora) si  fermò di abbaiare.

Come vedi ti ho corretto tutti i tempi verbali: non va l'imperfetto ma il passato remoto. Al posto dell'imperfetto potevi usare il trapassato prossimo, forse ti sei confusa con questi due tempi. In ogni caso è meglio usare il passato remoto.
