The article is about the important forms of clutter in company and methods to overcome them. The author starts by telling the reader that organisation complexity is the most debilitating form of clutter. It is include understanding how organization or firms adapt to their environments and how they cope with conditions of uncertainty. Further the author says that a second form of clutter is meeting. Managers spend quarter of their time in meeting, but many of these have no clear purpose. And the last form of clutter is e-mails. Every massage impresses a “time tax” on the people at either and of it. In conclusion author says that the best way to institutionalise decluttering is to force managers to justify any bureaucracy they introduce. I found the article interesting because office workers should plan their time so that it was effective. We must remember that the valuable resource that many companies have is the time of their employees.
