REPORT ON THE WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME
Introduction
The present report is aimed at outlining my experience at (of taking part) in the work programme in the Hilton Hotel. In order to do so, I will firstly describe the different task and activities I have been involved in. Secondly, I will point out the major problems I have dealt with and finally I will propose two improvements so as to succeed in future programmes.
Tasks and activities
During my first week I have been working worked/was working at the reception facing the public, checking-in and checking out (checking guests in and out) and familiarizing myself with the online booking software. During the second week I have carried out some managerial and administrative tasks at for/in the administration administrative department. The third week has been was focused on helping the person in charge of the outdoors activities and excursions department and eventually, the fourth and last week has been was centred upon the preparation of leisure activities for children and adults at the amusement department.
Problems
The major problems I have experienced together with my fellow workers is, on the one hand, a heavy workload that has sometimes resulted in working under constant pressure,. As a result some of us have felt highly stressed. On the other hand, I have detected a slight lack of coordination among the different departments that have has given rise to messy and embarrassing situations, fact that may translate into future potential clients´ letters of complaints. (letters of complaint from potential guests).
Recommendations and (suggested) improvements
With a view to solveing the problems described above I would like to make two useful (suggest a few ) recommendations I strongly believe could improve future programmes. As regards the workload, it might be meaningfully significantly reduced by hiring additional employees and trainees and concerning the lack of coordination I firmly consider that coordination meetings carried out in on a daily and weekly basis would effectively be able contribute to solving this issue.
-----------
I thought that was a very good attempt at the task, Miguel Angel. It uses the conventions of the report effectively and the entire content is relevant to the task. It also addresses all points mentioned in the task so congratulations on a job well done!
If I can make just one suggestion, if you'll write a report in the actual CAE exam, consider including a header with:
