The diagrams show the life cycle of the silkworm and the stages in the production of silk cloth As the description in the first diagram, the life cycle of the silkworm can be divided into four main stages. In the first stage, the eggs of a moth will be laid on the leaves and it will take ten days for those eggs to become silkworm larvae. During the second stage, the larva will grow up and feed on mulberry leaves. After four to six weeks, the larva, in its third stage, starts to produce silk threads and use them to wrap itself up. This procedure will last for three to eight days until a cocoon is formed. In the final stage, the larva will spend sixteen days in its cocoon and then it will get out from the cocoon as a moth. The second diagram shows us how the silk cloth is produced. The cocoons will be selected first and then they will be put in the boiled water, which can help us to unwind those cocoons into thread. The length of a thread can reach 300-900 meters. After twisting and weaving the threads, the silk cloth is produced and can be dyed with different colors. Those two diagrams are a good choice to help people to understand silkworm and silk cloth in a simple way.

The diagrams show the life cycle of the silkworm and the stages in the production of silk cloth

As is shown in the first diagram, the life cycle of the silkworm can be divided into four main stages. In the first stage, the eggs of a moth will be laid on the leaves and it will take ten days for those eggs to become silkworm larvae. During the second stage, the larva will grow up <em>('to grow up' is generally only used for humans)</em> and feed on mulberry leaves. After four to six weeks, the larva, in its third stage, starts to produce silk threads and uses <em>(3rd person agreement</em>) them to wrap itself up. This procedure will last for three to eight days until a cocoon is formed. In the final stage, the larva will spend sixteen days in its cocoon and then it will get out emerge from the cocoon as a moth.

Those two diagrams are a good choice to help people to (<em>you can use 'to' here, but it sounds more natural without it) </em>understand silkworm and silk cloth in a simple way.
