If young ladies were President?

If such beautiful ladies were Presidents. I think there would be no reason to make war. All citizens would fall in love with their Presidents.

This is a hypothetical situation so you should use the second conditional - If + past simple, would + infinitive (1st form)

The expression is 'to fall in love with' somebody/something

First ladies are the wives of Presidents

The hypothesis is good but is my President prettier than yours! This could cause even more wars!
