First of a blog post about my last weekend
I wrote a text on about my last week-end. Could you please correct it for me?
I began my week-end Friday afternoon. I did the Dublin Bay Cruise from Howth to Dùs Laoghaaire. I take took the luas in Dublin for the first time.
I arrived on at the marina and the first thing that I had seen it saw was a fishing boat where fishermen got were busy putting it all right. [I'm not sure abou the term for this. I don't know about ships.] They were lifting nets and cleaning their boat after their trip out to sea. Then I saw was looking at the sea, and all of a sudden, I looked saw several black spots into the water. I didn't arrived to see that is it. I wasn't able to see what it was. [I'm guessing that is what you wanted to say?] There was a sudden shift, and a spot was getting its head out the water. Incredible, that has been it was a seal!
On the way back from home, I decided to buy some wine bottles for to celebrate my first week of classes and organized a little event with my host family before that one part of the family went in
on holiday in Germany for two months.
Saturday, my host family organized a barbeque (BBQ) with their friends. I tasted the Irish barbecuing which is different from those organized in France.
[Do you mean the food is different? What do people eat at French barbecues?]
I ate a roasted corn on a stick. I cooked made an apple pie, a specialty of my family, like for dessert.
Usually Gary is a serious person but when I saw him there who he was completely different. He was relaxed and make made us die of laughter. That was a nice day.
The On Sunday, I saw a Gaelic dance competition from Saggart. I was excited of looking to see this traditional dance. The little girls have marvellous and colorful costumes. I looked to skip about a kid (or to gambol like a lamb). [I'm not sure what you're describing.] They were very beautiful and fun to watch. Despite my enthusiasm for this newly discovered and cheerful dance, one day had we listened to a Irish music over and over the whole day again, again. All day is It was very boring and a few little "alienating".
--> you could rephrase "Despite my enthusiasm, etc...after listening to Irish music all day long it got a little boring and alienating."
Afterward, I took the luas to come back in to Dublin and meet friends.
The weekend was very lovely.
Thank you very much for your help !
