7/30/2015 Minnie, my 4-year-old niece, a bag of candies held in her hand, was happily playing in her father’s car. I said, “Can I get a candy from you?” She carefully opened the candy bag, scrutinizing the candies inside the bag. She then took out one and stuffed it into my hand. “This is for you”, she grinned and told me. Her younger brother, who sat next to her, saw this. He also extended his little hand into the candy bag and took out one candy. Minnie quickly snatched the candy and put it back into the bag. He again plucked another candy from the bag. Minnie seized the candy back for the second time and returned it into the bag. “I want a candy”, shouted the little brother. Minnie straightened her face and said, “I will give you after we reach home.” The little brother turned his face and looked at the candy in my hand earnestly. Minnie saw this, she then quickly grabbed the candy from my hand and put it into my handbag. She told me seriously, “You must remember to eat it.” Today, I ate the candy and thinking about them.
