Work quickly and carelessly or work slowly but correctly? (Please help me improve my writing. Any correction and rewriting is welcome. Thanks!) H/L: In today’s world, is it more important to work quickly and risk making mistakes than to work slowly and make sure that everything is correct? In my opinion, working slowly and making sure that everything is correct definitely is more important than working quickly and risking making mistakes. Here are some reasons why: First of all, lacking of planning in order to work quickly may end up cost you more time to correct all the mistakes that could be avoided in the first place. Although it may cost more time in the beginning, I believe that working carefully and slowly to avoid making mistakes is more time-effective. Furthermore, how good you can do is way more important than how quick you can do it. It is meaningless to receive a work that is having too many errors to be usable. I don’t think that it is a wise decision to sacrifice quality for speed. Last but not least, making mistakes, you are taking risk to lose trust of your supervisors or customers. If your work is low quality, people may think you are not qualified and professional. Thus, you may not only disappoint your current supervisors or customers but also lose potential employers and customers. For example, one of my staffs used to hand up reports first, but his works were always full of mistakes, ranging from basic typing errors to serious logical problems. So it took me a lot of time and effort to examine, correct and rewrite his reports. In the consequence, I didn’t give him much credit when his potential employers called for reference. This is why I disagree with the statement that it is more important to work quickly and risk making mistakes than to work slowly and make sure that everything is correct.

In my opinion, working slowly and making sure that everything is correct definitely is (is definitely sounds more natural than "definitely is") more important than working quickly and risking making mistakes. Here are some reasons why:

First of all, lacking of planning in order to work try and finish quickly may end up cost you more time to correct all the mistakes that could be avoided in the first place. Although it may cost more time in the beginning, I believe that working carefully and slowly to avoid making mistakes is more time-effective.

Furthermore, how good you can do something is way more important than how quick you can do it. It is meaningless to receive a complete work that is having has too many errors to be usable. I don’t think that it is a wise decision to sacrifice quality for speed.

Last but not least, making mistakes you are taking puts you at risk of losing the trust of your supervisors or customers. If your work is low quality, people may think you are not qualified and professional. Thus, you may not only disappoint your current supervisors or customers, but also lose potential employers and customers. For example, one of my staffs staff used to hand up reports first, but his work were was always full of mistakes, ranging from basic typing errors to serious logical problems. This is why I disagree with the statement that it is more important to work quickly and risk making mistakes, than to work slowly and make sure that everything is correct.

It's well written apart from a few minor issues.  Good work.
