Letter of complaint Dear Sir/ Madam, I am writing to draw your attention to the problems that one of my neighbors, who lives above my flat has caused and to ask for some solutions. I am living on unit 123 St. Jane block for several years and during this time I have not had any problems with my neighbors. Then someone rent an empty apartment that located above of mine. Firstly, he has continued making loud noise from early morning until midnight for several months, since he moved here. It is common that each of us have personal problems, which lead to our overexcite or anger. However, my neighbor is always in the condition of yelling and arguing. As a result, I can not concentrate on my work as well as enjoy a deep sleep. It really makes me exhausted and gets on my nerves. Further more, he usually celebrates big parties with his family and friends, but those are late-night parties. Although relaxing and entertaining is reasonable, their behavior like turning on noisy music at sensitive hours is unacceptable. Despite numerous objections of mine and other neighbors, he seems to ignore and still does such inconvenient things like those. I hope that this matter will be resovled as soon as possible. I would suggest that he be fined and be gave a deadline to eliminate this situation. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and consideration. I am writing to draw your attention to the problems that one of my neighbors, who lives above my flat, has caused and to ask for some solutions. I have lived in Unit 123 St. Jane block for several years. During this time, I have not had any problems with my neighbors. However recently someone rented the empty apartment (use the as it refers to a specific apartment) located above mine.

Firstly, he has been making loud noise from midnight until the early morning (from early morning until midnight makes no sense unless he makes noise throughout the day, but I don't think you mean this)for several months, ever since he moved here. It is
common that each of us have personal problems, which leads us to becoming over-excited or angry. However, my neighbor can be heard continuously yelling and arguing. As a result, I cannot concentrate on my work or enjoy a deep sleep. It has really made me exhausted and gets on my nerves. Further more, he usually holds big parties with his family and friends, which are held late at night.

Although relaxing and entertaining is reasonable, their behavior, such as turning on noisy music at sensitive hours, is unacceptable. Despite numerous objections from myself and other neighbors, he seems to ignore everyone and continues such inconvenient behavior. I hope that this matter can be resolved as soon as possible. It sounds like you are unlucky enough to have the neighbor from hell living above you! I have had occasional issues with cats or dogs making noises and neighbors coming come in the early hours, but nothing of the kind which you described! I hope you can get a speedy resolution to your problems and once again get a good night's sleep!
