Are these simple Spanish sentences correct?

Cubro la olla. (I cover the pot)
Partes el pastel. (You split the cake)

Unes los cables juntos. (You join the cables together) - No suena natural, es redundante. Simplemente: unes los cables

Vive en Europa. (He lives in Europe)
Me abre la puerta. (He is opening the door for me)
Añade sal al arroz. (She adds salt to the rice)
Asiste al concierto. (She is attending the concert)
Describe (Describes) el libro. (You (Ud.) describe the book)

Discutes tranquilamente. (You (Ud.) are discussing quietly) - "Discuss" también puede ser traducido al español como "hablar", "comentar" o "tratar un tema". En español, "discutir" suena un poco fuerte, como si las personas estuvieran peleando en la conversación.

Permitimos al perro en la casa. (We allowed the dog in the house)
Decidimos (Decidiremos) esta noche. (We are deciding tonight)
Escriben (están escribiendo) juntos el contrato. (They are writing the contract together)
La interrumpen. (They interrupt her)
Reciben un regalo. (They receive a gift)
Suben las escaleras. (They go up the stairs)
Sufren del (por el) calor. (You (Uds.) are suffering from the heat)
Salen temprano de la fiesta. (You (Uds.) leave the party early)

Salir = go out
Irse = leave

Asiste al concierto. (he/she is attending the concert)<--Same case
