Waves (correct my mistakes please)

The first paragraph is very clear, but the second paragraph is a little jumbled, grammatically and semantically. You need to establish the connection between your nouns and pronouns more clearly. Part of this is probably just my ignorance of the subject, but I found it difficult to trace the logic of the second paragraph, so my corrections may not reflect your meaning even though they are syntactically sound.
