Is a Test of Spoken English Necessary?: Jun 01, 2011
A test of spoken English will be included as an optional component of
the College English Test (CET).
But as for the question of whether a test of spoken English is necessary, there are some controversies among people.
Many people hold that it is necessary. <strike>In the first place</strike>
First, students’ spoken English level should be improved <strike>when they are</strike>
while preparing for the test. Secondly, this is a fair means to assess college students’ spoken English level.
Some people, however, take a different attitude. They <strike>bilieve</strike>
believe that it is meaningless to take a spoken <strike>Englisgh</strike>
English test. There are two reasons for this. One is that<strike>,</strike> it may cut the students’ interest in learning as their
hard work is just for a test. What’s more, some students who cheat in the test make the test unfair and meaningless.
As for me, I agree with the first viewpoint. I believe that the advantages of taking a spoken English test outweigh the
disadvantages. So
, in my opinion, a test of spoken English is necessary.
抱歉,不过"Mr.牛肉面"很好笑名 XD
你的作文很不错,加油!我也相信口试是必要的。例如,我的中文作文比我的言语更好。如果口试不必要的,我不知道中文,但是我及格!D:
