汝為甚物想欲學閩南話?
中國朋友常常問我:
Tiong-kok-pêng-iú siông-siông mng goá:
「汝是按怎想欲學福建話? 這是方言 ... 」
"Lí sī án-choáN siūN-beh óh hók-kiàn-uē? Che sī hong-giân ..."
看起來, 這是一へ真奇怪へ代誌.
KhoàN-khí-lâi, che sī chit-e chin khî-koài ê tāi-tsì.
但是我感覺學福建話へ理由真濟:
Tān-sī goá gám-kak óh hók-kiàn-uē-ê lí-iû chin tsuē:
首先, 這是我太太へ母語.
Siú-sian, che sī goá tài-tài ê bó-gí.
伊會曉講我へ母語, 所以我應該講伊へ.
I ē-hiáu kóng goá-ê bó-gí, só-í goá eng-kai kóng i-ê.
其次, 閩南話這へ語言真正趣味.
Khî-chhù, bân-lâm-uē chit-e gí-giân chin-chiàN chhù-bī.
音, 語法, 詞彙攏共其他へ中國方言無[相同] (that character won't show)
Im, gí-hoat, sû-huē lóng ka khî-tha-e tiong-kok hong-giân bô-siâng.
最後也有一へ特殊へ本地文化.
Tsoē-āu iá ū chit-e ték-sû-e bún-toē bûn-hoà.
恁捌毋捌台灣へ「古詩吟唱」?
Lín bat m bat tâi-oân-e kóo-su gîm-chhiòng?
伊人「唱」唐詩, 真正有意思.
I-lâng chhiùN Tong-su, chin-chiàN ū ì-su.
Wow, that was harder to write than I thought :-). Sorry if a lot sounds like translated from Mandarin (because it is). Maybe there will be a Hokkien / Minnan / Tâigí speaker who can correct my text? Or let me know if you could understand it :-)?
In case you are curious: the transcription is POJ (白話字) - different from pinyin (and similar to IPA). The characters are my best guess at the 本字 / TW dictionary standard.

中國朋友常常問我: （我會講「定定(tiann7-tiann7)、「經常(king1-siong5)」、「時常（si5-siong5）」較濟）看起來, 這是一へ真奇怪へ代誌. （若是欲講「in my opinion」，我認為用「我感覺（gua2 kam2-kak4）」較自然）
伊會曉講我へ母語, 所以我應該講伊へ. （「所以我嘛應該愛會曉講伊的」我感覺安呢較順）
音, 語法, 詞彙攏共其他へ中國方言無[相同] (that character won't show)（你欲講「仝」？閩南語(Southern Min)本來和官話(Mandarin)就是一個分開的兩個語言，閩南語甚至和官話毋是仝一個祖先，只是攏是漢語系的語言爾。）
恁捌毋捌台灣へ「古詩吟唱」?（用「敢捌（kam2 bat4）」聽起來較自然）
Nicely done! The romanization in the brackets is just my best guess.

猶毋過我學閩南話へ理由真濟:
首先, 這是阮某へ母語.
Siú-sian, che sī gún bóo ê bó-gí. (阮 is used to refer to the object as your own. 某 is used to refer to wife.)
伊會曉講我へ母語, 所以我嘛應該會曉講伊へ.
I ē-hiáu kóng goá-ê bó-gí, só-í goá eng-kai kóng i-ê.
其次 加閣(Futhermore), 閩南話這へ語言真正趣味.
ke-koh, bân-lâm-uē chit-e gí-giân chin-chiàN chhù-bī.
伊へ發音, 語法, 詞彙攏共其他へ中國方言無[相同] (that character won't show)
i e huat-im, gí-hoat, sû-huē lóng ka khî-tha-e tiong-kok hong-giân bô-siâng.
(The Southern Min Chinese / Hokkien-Taiwanese spoken in Southern Fujian in Mainland China including Singapore use [相同] meaning same/similar. Taiwanese use mostly 仝).
最後, 閩南文化真特殊，伊有深厚 tshim hōoへ本地文化底蘊 tué ùn. Min Nan Culture is special and has deep cultural background.
恁敢捌聽 thiann閩南人用閩南話的文讀音來吟誦 gîm-siōng 古詩 kóo-si?
亻因用閩南話的文讀音吟誦唐詩 Tông-si, 真正有够押韻 ah-ūn.
They use the Southern Min Chinese/Hokkien-Taiwanese literal reading to recite Tang Chinese poetry, it really rhymes well.
Hey, I see you use Peh-Ho-Ji Romanisation to transcribe Southern Min Chinese/Hokkien-Taiwanese. However, in my opinion, using Tailo romanisation is more convienent and more widespread, since my impression is that the Taiwanese schools use Tailo to teach Southern Min Chinese/Hokkien-Taiwanese so Taiwanese people might prefer to use Tailo to transcribe.....
