I am interested in <contrary to the above correction, NO "the" here.> international law because I am currently studying <"pursuing" is stronger than "studying" here: English collocation:  "pursuing a degree" or "pursuing a field of study">   at an LLB in Jurisprudence and have a personal interest in international law as I am a professional seafarer and and am interested in how international law works, how to resolve legal issues and cases between countries, especially how current conflict in my country is the example of a legal problem involving international law.I am going to the Conference on International law at Cambridge in April.

Andrei,  my partner, in the last sentence, is the title of the conference "The Conference on International Law?" Or are you intending to use a general term?  If the title of the conference is as I stated above, capitalize "The" and "Law."  If you are using a general term, write it like this:  "a conference on international law at Cambridge" -- only capitalize Cambridge.  Again I will take a look at another draft if you like.
