I enjoyed summer vacation this year. I studied abroad in Australia for six weeks. It was the first time for me to visit a foreign country alone. The experience changed me. I stayed with a host family. They are a family of seven. Every day I spoke English and played with the children. The most surprising thing was the size of the country. Australia is an island like Japan, but the size is different. I could see the sky anywhere because there were not many buildings. The house was not an apartment, but almost a one story house. Also, I surprised by the kindness of Aussies. They helped me when I was confused and alone. Especially, the bus attendant. always tough bus station for me (sorry I couldn't understand that sentence). I want to speak English smoothly.
