I am Korean. So far /until now, I have thought that Korea is one of the least diverse countries in terms of race and culture. Conventional Koreans (who are) in their 50s and above cannot understand cultural diversity because they have a very stereotypical and standardized (point of) view of Korean culture. However, it looks like /it appears that younger (Korean) generations are more open-minded and respectful of different cultures, because they have more chance /opportunity to come across /meet (various) people from different cultural backgrounds as Korea has a stronger presence worldwide.
