No - coffee is the drink
Cafe is a place you can eat and also have coffee. A cafe is kinda like a diner. Or the French notion of café.
Interestingly, a place that only sells coffee drinks )and maybe some small food items) is not a cafe but a coffeehouse or coffee shop.

No, a cafe is short for cafeteria, but both are used in different ways. A cafeteria is usually a place to buy and eat food and drinks in a school, university or workplace. A cafe is often a place that will be open for breakfast and lunch, and occasionally until 5 or 6 pm. It is a restaurant, but cheaper.
Coffee is coffee.
