Hi guys 👋, I don't understand this sentence. Could you please explain what it means? It is about daylight savings time. Thank you.😊 "Maybe now instead of 9 o'clock, it gets dark now by dinner time 6 o'clock. It's dark out."

This isn't really about daylight saving time, because that only changes things by an hour. It's really about days shortening as we get to winter. It's getting dark in the UK at about 4pm now, it is about 10pm in the summer.
ÙĄÙ€ Ù†ÙˆÙÙ…ŰšŰ± ÙąÙ ÙąÙĄ
Normally, the sun will set near 21:00. However, the sun sets earlier now- by dinner time: 18:00. At this moment, it is nighttime.

It says that now it gets dark (it's night time) by 6 pm unlike before. Before it got dark by 9pm
