I’ve noticed that some people spend over 24 hours deciding whether to buy an item, while others make the decision without much thought. They often buy things on impulse, which can make others feel that their purchases are unnecessary and wasteful.
I must admit, I’m one of those people who tend to shop impulsively. For example, two weeks ago, I bought an electric car. From the moment I entered the store to completing the purchase, it took just two days. The sales clerk even remarked that I was the quickest customer she had ever seen to make such a big decision.
However, two weeks later, I don’t regret my decision at all. I love my new car. Although it might seem like I bought it impulsively, the idea of getting a car had been on my mind for quite some time. I genuinely needed it.
If the things we purchase make our lives more convenient and enjoyable, there’s no need to dwell on whether the decision was impulsive or well-considered. On the other hand, even if you spend a long time thinking about a purchase, you may still regret it if it doesn’t bring you happiness.
