It's sunny but freezing today. My MeeMaw called this morning and reminded us that today is my great granny's birthday. Honestly, we had forgotten about it, but she was spot on. Since it's not yet the weekend, we won't throw a big party or do anything celebrating, as she doesn't really appreciate any of such activities anyway. I called her and wished her a happy long life, as that's what truly matters to her now. She doesn't like to dwell on her age.
