Italki is not a language learning app. Italki is primarily a marketplace. It connects students to individual teachers, who give PAID lessons over the Internet. You use it by choosing a teacher, buying credits in your "wallet," and booking a lesson. Every teacher follows their own personal teaching system. Every "professional teacher" I've used on italki--I've used about six--has been very good. But it is not free. It's all for pay.
