Салам🙋🏻‍♀️ Day27 #Olivie Salad: This salad in the West mainly known as Russian salad. Basically, it’s New Year’s specialty🎄Olivie is popular in all post-Soviet counties as well as other European countries, and even in Iran, Israel. So today I finally reached my country-Kyrgyzstan🇰🇬 Since my childhood every winter we used to eat olivie, being honest I used to think it’s some Italian salad😅 Turns out not at all. It was invented by a cook Lucien Olivier, who worked in Hermitage restaurant Moscow. The salad was a definite success. Unfortunately, the recipe was a secret🤐 Original version included very expensive ingredients, but what were exact list of ingredients:nobody knew. One day the assistant came to the room (while Olivier needed to go out) and saw his cooking table.
