A report - Public transport system in Ekaterinburg INTRODUCTION As requested, this report consists of depicting the current situation in Ekaterinburg concerning its public transport network. The report outlines the advantages of this system and my personal suggestions on how it can be developed. Having spoken to some of my friends over the matter. I have come up with some ideas which are presented below and may be of interest. STRENGTHS OF THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM AVAILABLE Ekaterinburg is a big modern city that is growing steadily. It has a big network of buses and trams. People from my city generally regard this system as running quite smoothly. Local residents often express their satisfaction with most characteristics that are required, including availability of the transport system for everyone and our awareness of being somewhere on time. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT Despite its advantages, the transport system in Ekaterinburg remains to be congested, especially in rush hours. What is more, most buses and trams are not modern. They can be used properly, but esthetically should be condemned. I therefore suggest continuing building the metro in my city. Introducing news metro stations will definitely ease congestion. You may also wish to consider buying some new transportation vehicles with more fashionable designs. CONCLUSION It is important to take into account that only my personal opinion is presented here. I would like to point out that some further survey on the subject should be carried out.
