This is beautifully written, natural, fluent and expressive throughout. Nothing sounds forced or unnatural at all. If I had to suggest anything, it would be tiny stylistic touches rather than corrections: "the way they behave" could become "their behaviour" for a slightly more sophisticated feel, and "rub against people's legs" could be "rub up against people's legs" - native speakers often add "up" there. But honestly both versions are perfectly natural. The last sentence is particularly well constructed - "both independent and affectionate at the same time". Well done, Angela! 🐱
