I hope that day won't come. Looking back at the two World Wars, the financial problem counts for one of the reasons. So I hope every country will develop in their own way, and nobody get declined sharply.

Historically wars have been about gaining more land, access to strategic shipping routes and natural resources like minerals, gold etc. Have a look around the world and see what countries need these things and you'll figure it out.

We already are . . . in a way. The 1st and 2nd world countries are in a struggle with Muslim nations. There is an interesting little fact, no two countries with MacDonalds have every gone to war. Now we have modernity in conflict with a portion of the world which has not undergone a change similar to the Protestant Reformation. The struggle is always over ideology and culture. China is making the change with little fanfare. We hopefully are seeing the stirrings in the Jasmine Revolutions.

Probably. And the reason? There's never a reason.
